🚦 Pioneer Days 2026: Official Traffic & Parking Guide
The intersections of US-224 & Water St and Broad St (SR-115) & North St are open for through traffic. However, you cannot drive into the downtown blocks from these points, as they are reserved for the Carnival Midway and pedestrian safety.
🚗 Arriving from the West (Cloverdale / Ft. Jennings)
- As you enter Kalida on US-224, turn North onto Water Street.
- Follow Hwy 9 East for 12 miles.
- Turn right onto Heritage Trail (look for the large wooden Silverwood sign).
- Follow the gravel road for 2 miles to reach the Check-in Gate.
🚙 Arriving from the East (Ottawa)
- Take I-5 North/South to Exit 182 (Oakhaven).
- Follow Hwy 9 East for 12 miles.
- Turn right onto Heritage Trail (look for the large wooden Silverwood sign).
- Follow the gravel road for 2 miles to reach the Check-in Gate.

- Main Street Lot — 2 blocks from festival entrance
- Community Center — Shuttle service available
- High School — Weekend parking with shuttle
♿ Accessible Parking
ADA-accessible parking spaces are available in the Main Street Lot, closest to the festival entrance. Please display your accessible parking permit.

- • Carpool when possible
- • Consider using the free shuttle service
- • Street parking is limited — use designated lots
